Kelly has been in the Project Management and Construction field since 1982. Kelly began his career as a Retail Department Store Manager and Store Planner for Macleods Department Stores based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Through Macleods Store Planning Department professional organizational skills were acquired through in-house industry training and practical experience regarding various aspects of construction management, retail store merchandising, operations management and store design. As a project manager Kelly has managed the renovations of 18 major Corporate stores averaging 25,000 square feet and 18 Franchisee stores averaging 12,000 square feet. Kelly interned during the renovations of 17 other stores prior. Staff supervision during these periods could peak out at 35 personnel on day shift with an additional 35 on the evening shift. Once a project started there were no days off until it was finished; sometimes 5 weeks.

Kelly has been acting as a General Contractor since 1991 in the Greater Vancouver area and now resides and operates in Abbotsford. Notable projects include the Construction Management of the Phase-2 renovation of the Diamond Field Resources head office in Waterfront centre, the design and build of Little Sisters bookstore, the building of the Aaron Webster Memorial in Stanley Park, the Paris Place tower deficiencies for Henderson Development, the private residences of Henderson development executives, and the current contracts to replace the kitchens and millwork at Abbotsford Community Services. Past projects under taken have included retail stores, restaurants, offices, Strata common area improvements, Strata building maintenance, private residence detached homes, private residence condominiums, Condominium tower sales centres and show rooms, public memorials and art installations.

Free estimates:
Verbal non binding estimates are free. Where a prospective client provides the necessary information to give a general estimate such as dimensions, photos and material specifications.
Detailed estimates:
Written estimates incorporating detailed project costing, site visits and document generation are charged out at $65.00 per hour plus costs. Travel charges are billed by the hour with a .50 cent per kilometre surcharge. An estimate can take anywhere from one hour to twenty hours depending on the scope of work and detail required. Estimate costs are recoverable.
Estimate cost recovery:
The cost of the estimate is credited back against the contract project management fee upon the successful signing of an agreement for services.
Construction service supply contracts are cost plus and frequently have a minimum 3 month lead time. The hourly rate is $65.00 per hour with materials and trade services charged out at cost plus 20%.
